BIM Titan Award

Submissions now open from 8 January - 16 February 2024.

This award specifically honors large-scale contractors' commitment to Digital Transformation, as they integrate Building Information Modeling (BIM) for end-to-end project delivery. Recognizing achievements in elevated productivity, improved cost management, and streamlined project workflows, this accolade underscores the substantial contractors' effective use of technology.

Program Details

Projects may be submitted for consideration by completing an Official Entry Form.


By participating in this Competition, each team shall make a registration to participate in this Competition, refer as the “Participating Team”, and each Team Member unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by the Terms and Conditions in the Brief and the decisions of the Glodon Malaysia, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

Program Process

Beginning 8 January 2024, visit the registration page and follow the instructions to secure your contest spot.
Once you have submitted your particulars, you may start a Project Entry.
All Project Entries must be submitted via the link provided.
All Project Entries must comply with all Requirements, Conditions of Entry, and the instructions set forth on the Contest Site (which are incorporated herein by reference).
Determination of compliance will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor/Judges/Administrator, whose decisions are final.
Entrants may submit multiple Project Entries as long as it meets the category’s requirements; however, a Project Entry can only win once.

Project Entry Requirements

Upon entering, participants shall carefully review the specific entry requirements outlined by Glodon Malaysia to ensure that all necessary information is included and that the project aligns with the competition's focus and criteria.

  1. GFA minimum 10,000 m2
  2. Project completed from 2019 - 2024 (ongoing projects are allowed to enter)
  3. Cubicost solutions (TAS/TRB) are used in the project.
  4. Submission of model and supporting documents must be approved by company.
  5. One company can submit more than 1 project, max 3 pax/team
  6. Higher points are given to participants who can demonstrate Cubicost usage in project implementation

Criteria

Upon entering, participants shall carefully review the specific entry requirements outlined by Glodon Malaysia to ensure that all necessary information is included and that the project aligns with the competition's focus and criteria. These are the main area to be showcased:

  1. Contest Briefing
    Participants; at least one representative from each team, need to attend the Contest Briefing (Online Mode).
  2. Project Description
    Provide a comprehensive description of the project, including its scope, objectives, and any unique challenges faced during the planning and execution phases.
  3. BIM Implementation Plan
    Clearly outline how BIM (Building Information Modeling) was utilized throughout the project lifecycle. Describe specific BIM tools, processes, and technologies employed to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and decision-making.
  4. Collaboration and Coordination
    Emphasize how BIM facilitated collaboration and coordination among project stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Showcase how information sharing and communication were improved.
  5. Project Outcome and Results
    Present the overall outcomes and results achieved through the implementation of BIM. This could include improvements in project timelines, cost savings, enhanced collaboration, and any other measurable benefits.
  6. Challenges Overcome
    Describe any challenges or obstacles faced during the BIM implementation and how they were successfully addressed. Highlighting lessons learned can demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills.
